You know what? Maybe this never crossed your mind before, but can grandparents be actually *gasp* hipper than your own parents?

Take this scenario

Mum: *Looking at my hair* Mel, go cut your hair after Chinese New Year. Like that very ugly.

Me: ...

And then this

Me: *playing Mahjong*

Grandma: Mel, your hair like this nice.

Me: Huh? But your son says not nice. Ask me to cut.

Grandma: Ha? Not nice meh?

There! Even my grandma can accept this hair length(plus colour), why not my parents? The worst part is, my dad himself is guilty of long hair in his youth! Where is the justice!

*Shakes fist*

It's just hair. And red highlights. Why make such a fuss. And besides, I keep hair cause I like it, not like it's peer pressure(I don't see Alwyn keeping long hair haha.)

Another irritating thing is this, bunches of foreign workers running across the road. I have nothing if they're running across the road when its empty but when the green man just changed to red and the green light is already showing for the cars to move, they still just... run like dumb animals.

I know India is overpopulated overpopulating. But there's no need to resort to this means right? Over there you get run over, no one gives a hoot. Maybe your family will shed some tears and the undertaker will worry about whether he's going to get paid for services rendered or not.

Come here, get banged and then scratch our car. It's worse if they're on bikes(80% of them are. The remaining 20% travel in groups to poh heng sway and see who gets more seriously injured.)

*Lightning strikes from above*

Oh my God. Could there be a reason why they cross the road like that? Is it because when they do... they want to be like JAY?(JAYwalk). Let's face it, even if they bleach their skin(ala MJ), straighten their hair a few times and mumble in Mandrin/Hokkien, they can never be Jay.

Suggest we educate them on the perils of jaywalking and hope they jaywalk with more sense?

Probably won't register anyway. =D

Finally finished my stint as a Tiger Beer Promoter. As usual, customers people asked stupid questions.

I mean, what's new right?

Guess what? I've just realised that there are a certian percentage of people that without free gifts, refuse to make the purchase.

Does this mean you're buying the thing ONLY for the free gift? No? You sure make sound like it.

Person: "Eh, buy Tiger got gib anitin?"

Me: "Erm, no more stock for free gift already. Cause it's while stock lasts."

Person: "Errrrrrrrrrr. Dun wan liao."

*walks off*

Me: *rolls eyes*

I'm sorry, but aren't the gifts like bonus for buying the product(in this case, Tiger Beer)? If let's say you're aim is to get the free gift, why not try this. Buy the product, I give you the free gift, and I take the beer. That way EVERYONE is happy =D.

Don't start that crap about not giving free gifts and being short changed. While stock lasts means while stock lasts. I'm not the bloody factory, and neither do I have the power to cough/produce Gold plated RU YI plates from my ass. No, thats reserved for some other people.

Another thing is if there's no promoter, there shouldn't be any free gifts given out(APB is strict on this). But after stating that, people still thrust reciepts into my hand and demand ask for it. So which part exactly do you not understand? The "No promoter, no free gift" or the "Free gift given out only when promoter is around" part? Take note, they are the same. Haha.

After having to put up with multitudes of completely idiotic and neow requests, I finally appreciate how much better school life is.

Okay, not very much better but marginally. At least I don't have to answer stupid people and their questions. Shit, the dizzyness is getting to me.

Ode to me
*********************************
Oh, erm.

Fuck it.

I can't write poems for nuts. Brain dead from working, customers asking stupid questions

"Dun wan fleee gib cheeeper can nort?"

Alright. I'll be honest with you.

"No."

I mean, sorry, but I don't own APB(Asia Pacific Breweries) for your info. I don't, for any matter, set the prices or control the stock of "fleee gibs". I'm just there to give out premiums(if there are any) and assit you in buying our Beer(service with a smile/snarl).

Damn I'm tired.

I did the only thing I could.
I walked away from you.

Today's Openhouse was chaotic. Schools coming late, helpers not enough that sort of thing. But hell, its OPENHOUSE. If it isn't chaotic, what would it be? Dead?

Done up my blog, doesn't look so boring and drowzy to me now. At least I'll have more motivation to update(due to lack of pictures taken and brain juice to spare).

Exams and Openhouse finally taking it's toll on me without having any outlet for stress(Balling is out of the question when it rains and it rains like 90% of the time while pool is restricted due to funding problems).

Speaking of funding, maybe I should set up a new charity company for destressing people. No stunts will be done BUT real life scenes of people losing it will be filmed with an ominous air saying

"The next person who loses it could be... YOU."

clip:*person takes pipette/cash/pencil(??)/calculator/cable/gloved hand and shoves it painfully up someone else's ass*

Ouch. Seriously, anyone of us could lose it these days. Hope it doesn't rain latercause at least I can ball.

This post is done cause Nicole said

"Your blog is using up O2 by deomposing!"

Okay, she didn't say that. She said

"Your blog long time no update hor?"

And yes, it has been a long time since I've updated. For the past week I've been mugging(read: alternating online and reading comics) for exams. Everytime it's exam period, I end up saying the same thing

"Didn't know most of the questions again"

"Many blanks throughout"

So might as well just refer to previous posts. It rained throughout, forcing me to skip bball for 2 weeks(knn) and wearing a jacket everytime I stepped out of the bathroom.

And when it finally stopped raining, the day ended up bad still. Life ain't no good without an iPod.

shouldn't have heard. shouldn't have turned. shouldn't have shouldn't have...

王力宏 - Kiss Goodbye
**************************
每一次kiss you goodbye
爱情的滋味此刻我终于最明白
----
但欠你的我不能给
我才明白爱最真实的滋味
我终于明白

我终于明白.

As always, the first day of school is one which 90% of us dread(you'd be a freak if you LIKED going back all the time). Waking up is totally against the rules of Nature(And they include Newton's Law of Gravity, Viscosity, etc). Dragging yourself up at 8am so that you can be in school by 9am(Alright. So I live pretty near the school. Those who live far away better not be reading this) and suffer?

But going back to that miserable existence of rushing reports, sitting through the most boring and hydrophobic lectures and confusing tutorials is kinda justifiable by the friends around.

Guess maybe cause they're suffering(Together with me! HAHA. Sado-machiost.) And that friends do make things better(To a certian extent. But no one can really like make N* **** ***'s classes more interesting.)

Wait.

What is wrong with me?

How can SCHOOL be justified with anything? Study 10 years and all you get is a bloody GCE O Level certificate that cannot even secure you a job. But the minimum is a Diploma they say. Even diploma holders find it difficult to find (perm) jobs. How justifiable is that?

作不成的爱人 变成最好朋友 expected. but it doesn't make it better.
